The Type 296® Spark Arrestor has quickly established itself among the finest quietist silencers in the world. This year, with the help of the sports finest, we've refined it even further. Constructed of aluminum and stainless steel for superior strength and weight savings, the Type 296® has just the right balance and stability. The longer canister will keep the noise level to a minimum, while the dynamic design maximizes the performance. Of course the Type 296® also exceeds US Department of Forestry standards and features specially engineered internal metal baffle, chambers, and sound absorbing materials for muffled exhaust sound and no loss of motor performance. The legal muffler system will meet the 96dB sound level set by the forestry service, which makes it completely spark arrestor legal and again quiet enough to meet the Forestry Standards.
